Master of Reality is the third studio album from Black Sabbath, released in 1971. It reached #5 on the UK-, and #8 on the U.S. Album Charts, immediately going gold. It was also their first album to feature the heavier new sound thus creating the premise for what would become known as the stoner rock sound.
